Subject: In Ghana til SAT(?)

Hello All -

I'm alive & kicking in Ghana--Accra for the moment. They have overpasses here! Craziness!

Ghana has been a blast so far. Everything is wonderful, and proof that life can be good in West Africa. Food is plentiful & cheap'ish for the good stuff, travel is a breeze (I've taken public transport like 5 or 6 times, and the most I've waited is about 15 minutes; and they don't pack you in like a sardine to boot), and Ghanaians are helpful, just like Nigeriens (I still give the edge to the Nigeriens; gotta stick to your roots). I've enjoyed it immensely.

Anyway, the point is that I again have a SIM card for Ghana (I paid a whopping $2.22 for it), and I have a phone number here. I'm pretty sure it's:

+233 27 54 777 36

So, if you want to call, we'll (Molly & I) be in Accra today & tomorrow, then in the mountains (http://www.mountainparadise-biakpa.com/) for a few days, then back here THU & maybe FRI. Then back to Niger for me...

So, hope y'all are doing well, and best of luck with everything in the next few days. Hope to hear from you soon.

- Michael

PS Thomas, congrats on the Cards!
